About Me

I offer therapy in English and in Portuguese.
Sessions are held virtually and in-person at New Perspectives Center for Counseling, located at 862 Folsom Street, San Francisco, California. Accessible by Muni.
Values
I believe everyone deserves access to heart-centered care. In order to create a sense of trust and safety, I like to disclose some of my identities: queer, feminist, white, latina, neurotypical, and abled-bodied. Two important values of mine are providing anti-racist and trans-affirmative care.
Framework
I was trained to be an integrative therapist, meaning I combine different methods of therapy in order to offer care that feels holistic. Some of the main modalities I work in are: Internal Family Systems, Brainspotting, Liberation Psychology, Mindfulness, Relational Psychoanalysis, and Transpersonal Psychotherapy. Please feel free to ask my any questions regarding how I work during our consult!
Personal
In undergrad, I studied Psychology and Fine Arts. I received my MA in Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies. I'm passionate about learning and continue to attend a variety of trainings regularly.
Early in life, I discovered that the best way to learn is to teach. Therefore, I am an adjunct professor at CIIS, where I teach graduate-level courses focused on building and integrating clinical skills to therapists in training.
I'm originally from Brazil, and consider myself a “third-culture kid".
Outside of my clinical work, I love engaging in creative forms of self-expression, play, and storytelling. Mixed media visual art, fashion, and movement are important parts of my self-care.
